How we started
Mexico Aftermarket Consulting started in 2011, after we recognized the gap in coverage that many US-based parts manufacturers had for Mexico vehicle coverage.
In the absence of a good, common format, we recognized the difficulty understanding the electronic catalog that AutoZone, NAPA and some other retailers and wholesalers in Mexico are using.
Good OE and competitive data is the key to creating, maintaining and updating a good catalog and product mix in the aftermarket. Our mission is to bridge that gap between missing information and new sales opportunities for our clients and their customers.
Aftermarket Experience
We are automotive people. As well as our technical and administrative support, our research staff has aftermarket and OE experience on both sides of the border. In the US aftermarket we’ve managed new product development for some of the aftermarket’s biggest names, ran small jobber stores, and trained repair facilites. In Mexico we’ve managed dealership repair bays, parts counters, body shops, auto-repair franchise operations as well as leading merchandising and marketing teams for the biggest retailer in Mexico.
